The neighborhood of Westchase, located in Houston, Texas, is located in West Houston. Bordered by Westheimer road to the north, and Gessner Road to the East, it’s bisected via Beltway 8. Much of the neighborhood of Westchase is located in a special district of business.

The Brays Bayou Greenway has served as a vital linear park throughout Houston. Offering up 30 miles of hiking and biking trails the 2020 Brays Bayou Greenway project is the focus of a variety of projects designed to fill in the space of the trail networks throughout the region. New parks and recreation areas are under consideration to maintain some green space and outdoor activities for the region.
Stormwater retention areas are also implemented into the region to manage floodwaters and storm damage during hurricane season and other flood seasons.

Westchase is also home to the Taipei Economic as well as Cultural Office which maintains the Chinese cultural center. Westchase is also home to the consulate generals for Costa Rica as well as Indonesia and the Philippines. In 1993, the Indonesian consulate was also located to Westchase. Saudi Arabia also submitted plans for a 3-acre consulate in Westchase.
